Meeting with our valued guests at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal three hours before departure. After ticketing and baggage procedures, departure for Tokyo Narita Airport on Turkish Airlines flight TK50 at 15:50. Overnight on board.
DAY 02 YOKOHAMA (TOKYO) - 07.10.2026 (EMBARKATION)
Arrival in Tokyo at 08:55 local time. Transfer to our ship by private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. After the check-in procedures for Costa Serena, settling into cabins and free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 03 KOBE (KYOTO) - 08.10.2026
Our ship will arrive at Kobe Port at 18:00 in the afternoon. Guests who wish to spend this pleasant evening in the city may take a short walk in Kobe’s famous harbor area Harborland or choose downtown restaurants to taste the world-famous Kobe beef. Our ship will remain anchored in port tonight. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 04 KOBE (KYOTO) - 09.10.2026
After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the “Kobe City Tour” organized as an extra by our guide. Kobe is a city located in Hyogo Prefecture of Japan and is also known for the famous Kobe beef. It attracts attention with its modern structures, beautiful views, and historical richness. Our tour will first visit Kobe Port Tower, a unique red-painted steel structure that has become a symbol of both the port and the city. Then we will go to Ikuta Jinja, one of Japan’s oldest temples and part of Kobe’s historical heritage. Here we will be able to see traditional Japanese worship rituals. Finally, our journey will begin by cable car to the highest peak of the Rokko Mountains, which provide a pleasant green backdrop to Kobe. We will enjoy panoramic views of the heavily urbanized Hanshin region (Kobe and Osaka) and have the opportunity to take photos. After visiting the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens, Japan’s largest botanical garden located on Mount Rokko, where seasonal plants and flowers constantly change, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 20:00 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 05 KOCHI (JAPAN) - 10.10.2026
Our ship will dock at Kochi port at 07:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we depart by private vehicle waiting for us at the port for the “Kochi Castle & Kochi City Tour.” As we visit two of the city’s most respected landmarks, learn how Kochi became a center of pro-imperialist ideology at the end of the feudal era. From the pier, we go to Kochi Castle. Built more than 400 years ago by feudal lord Yamanouchi Kazutoyo, the “donjon” or main keep is worth the climb, offering famous panoramic views of the entire city. The tour will take you through the beautifully restored Tsumemon Gate, which connects the castle’s second keep to its inner sanctuary, and no visit is complete without seeing the living quarters, or “honmaru,” which house local and historical treasures. After a walk around the castle grounds, you will board your bus and head to beautiful Katsurahama Beach. Here stands the statue of Sakamoto Ryoma, one of Japan’s most beloved historical figures, known for transforming feudal Japan into a modernized, unified nation. At the end of the tour we return to our ship. Our ship will depart at 16:30 in the evening. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 06 KAGOSHIMA - 11.10.2026
Our ship will dock at Kagoshima port at 09:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities and shopping. Guests who wish may join the extra “Kamikaze & Senganen Japanese Garden Tour” organized by their guide. On this impressive tour, our first stop will be Chiran Peace Museum, which tells the story of the Kamikaze pilots and their aircraft—those who flew fearlessly to their deaths for their country during World War II, knowing they were on their final mission, though the Americans could not announce this publicly until the end of the war. Afterwards, we will enjoy a pleasant walk in Sengan-en, considered one of the most beautiful traditional Japanese gardens in the country, better understanding this beautiful art. We will visit the house in this garden that the Shimadzu family loved for generations. We will enjoy views of Kagoshima Bay and Sakurajima volcano from the Japanese gardens. We will learn about the lifestyle of Prince Shimadzu Tadayoshi. We will see how distinguished guests arriving from both Japan and overseas were hosted by the Shimadzu family at Sengan-en. Sengan-en and the Shoko Shuseikan Museum were inscribed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 2015. The Shoko Shuseikan Museum is located in Japan’s oldest stone factory building, constructed in 1865. At the entrance to the gardens, this museum shows the 800-year history of the Shimadzu family and how the international relations they established led to industrial modernization in Kagoshima, Kyushu, and Japan. Return to the ship from the main street in Kagoshima. Our ship will depart at 19:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 07 NAGASAKI - 12.10.2026
Our ship will dock at Nagasaki port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities and shopping. Guests who wish may join the “Nagasaki City Tour” organized as an extra by their guide. Nagasaki is the capital and largest city of Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. Historically, Nagasaki was the second and last city to be subjected to a nuclear attack. On our city tour, our first stop will be the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, where we remember the nuclear war among the saddest memories in history. Next, we will visit Glover Garden, home to the oldest surviving Western-style house in Japan, built by Scottish merchant Thomas Blake Glover. Finally, we will visit Nagasaki Chinatown and enjoy free time in the city center before returning to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 19:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 08 BUSAN (SOUTH KOREA) - 13.10.2026
Our ship will dock at Busan port at 07:00 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities and shopping. Guests who wish may join the “Busan City Tour” organized as an extra by their guide. In this city, which has witnessed temples, royal tombs, Japanese occupation, and the Korean War, we will first visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of the few seaside Buddhist temples in South Korea. Then we will see the Haeundae Dalmaji-gil Road, famous for its blue ocean, white sandy beach, camellia forest, and pine forest views; Haeundae Beach; Dongbaekseom Island; and the Mermaid Statue, representing the legendary heartbreaking love story of the princess of the kingdom of Ayuta. Afterwards, we will visit the UN Memorial Cemetery, where the soldiers of the United Nations from 16 countries who lost their lives in the Korean War between 1950 and 1953 are buried, including the Turkish Martyrs’ Cemetery and monument inside. Busan Gamcheon Culture Village is also known as “Busan’s Machu Picchu.” Busan Tower is located in Nampodong, the old central district of Busan, where you can find all kinds of brands as well as reasonably priced local shops. Among the streets is a paradise of street food. Then we visit Gukje Market, Busan’s largest market. After free time at the market, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart at 16:00 in the evening. DAY 09 KANAZAWA - 14.10.2026
Our ship will arrive at Kanazawa port at 15:00 in the afternoon. In this city known as “Little Kyoto,” our first stop is Kenrokuen Garden, one of Japan’s three most beautiful gardens. Then we will take an evening walk through the authentic atmosphere of the historic Higashi Chaya (Geisha) district, lit by lanterns, and have the opportunity to taste the city’s famous gold-leaf-covered ice cream. After free time for shopping in this city famous for its gold leaf craftsmanship, we return to the ship. Our ship will depart at 23:00 at night. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 10 AT SEA - 15.10.2026
On this day at sea, our ship will offer you many alternatives. Guests may enjoy the ship’s open and indoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas. Those who wish can shop at duty-free stores, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy the various music and entertainment programs performed in the bars. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 11 HAKODATE - 16.10.2026
Our ship will dock at Hakodate port at 07:30 in the morning. After breakfast, free time for personal activities and shopping. Guests who wish may join the “Hakodate City Tour” organized as an extra by their guide. We leave the ship to explore the city. Our first stop is Goryokaku Tower. From here, we will enjoy panoramic views of Goryokaku and learn more about the city’s history. Then we will have the opportunity to walk in Goryokaku Park. Afterwards, we visit Hachimanzaka, breathing in the old Hokkaido atmosphere and seeing historical buildings. We will move on to Ekini Market, where we can taste local delicacies and shop. Here we can experience Hokkaido’s famous seafood and other local products. We will go up Mount Hakodate and descend by cable car. You will admire the influence of other cultures in the city, such as Russian Orthodox and Christian churches, and enjoy time in the beautiful pedestrian center. The tour continues to Daimon Yokocho, where we will taste local dishes in the city’s traditional restaurants. Afterwards, we will visit Funadama Shrine, gaining a closer look at Japanese traditions and culture. We will find peace in the shrine’s serene atmosphere. We will take a break at Cha Cha Nobori Daisan-saka (South Mountain Monument), where we will have the opportunity to discover and relax in the city’s natural beauty. DAY 12 AT SEA - 17.10.2026
On this final day at sea of our tour, as we sail from the Sea of Japan to the Pacific, you can enjoy the ship. You may relax at the spa, join activities organized by the animation team, or enjoy the view on deck. A pleasant day awaits you with the farewell dinner and final preparations. DAY 13 TOKYO 18.10.2026
Our ship will dock at Tokyo Port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast and disembarkation, we set off by private vehicle waiting for us for the “Hakone & Ashi Lake Tour with Fuji View.” After approximately a 2-hour journey, our first stop is Owakudani Valley, formed by an eruption 3,000 years ago and still showing active volcanic gas vents. Here we will see the famous “Black Eggs” and have the chance to photograph Mount Fuji’s unique view from above, depending on weather conditions. After our lunch break in the area, we take a boat tour on Ashi Lake, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After our trip in the peaceful atmosphere of the crater lake, we have free time. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel. After check-in at the hotel, free time. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 14 TOKYO 19.10.2026
After breakfast, free time. Guests who wish may join the “Tokyo City Tour” organized as an extra by the guide. The first place we will see is the Imperial Palace, the Tokyo Imperial Palace, which includes many buildings such as the main palace, private residences of the Imperial family, archives, a museum, and administrative offices. The Tokyo Imperial Palace was built on the site of an old castle where the Shogun resided in the 15th century. In the 19th century, when Emperor Meiji moved the royal household from Kyoto to Tokyo, it also became the property of the royal family. Since most of the buildings were destroyed in World War II, the oldest remaining structures in the palace today are only 50 years old. Our second stop will be the Ginza district, one of the city’s most popular shopping areas, filled with luxury boutiques as well as first-class cocktail and sushi bars. Ginza is one of the world’s most luxurious shopping districts and welcomes countless tourists from all over the world. Next, we will visit Asakusa Temple, also known as Sensoji Temple, a Buddhist temple considered one of Tokyo’s oldest and most colorful temples. Also called Santa-jama (Temple of Three Gods), Asakusa is very popular with both tourists and locals. It is one of the rare temples in Tokyo that survived the bombing attacks in the final year of World War II, so its original structure has remained intact. The temple also hosts the Santa Festival every May. According to legend, Asakusa Temple, built by two fisherman brothers to pay respect to the goddess of mercy Kannon, is followed by Nakamise shopping street. Then we continue our tour with a visit to Akihabara, one of Tokyo’s world-famous neighborhoods. Akihabara is an extremely crowded shopping district known for its electronics stores, ranging from small street stalls to large shopping centers. After free time following the tour, we return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 15 TOKYO - ISTANBUL AIRPORT 20.10.2026
After breakfast and hotel check-out, we transfer to Tokyo Narita Airport by private vehicle waiting for us. After passport control and check-in procedures, departure for Istanbul at 10:25 on Turkish Airlines flight TK51. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 17:40 local time and end of the tour.
