Day 1: Istanbul ✈ Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)
We depart for Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s largest and most vibrant city, on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight at 02:50. After approximately a 9 hour and 40 minute direct flight, we arrive in Saigon at 16:30 local time. Following passport and luggage procedures, we transfer to the city center by private vehicle and check in to our hotel. After a short rest, we enjoy dinner at a restaurant serving the standout flavors of the local cuisine.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Full-Day City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our full-day city tour to explore Ho Chi Minh City, considered the cultural heart of Vietnam. First, we visit Notre Dame Cathedral, one of the city’s landmarks from the French colonial era, and the Central Post Office across from it, famous for its colonial architecture. Then we visit the War Remnants Museum, which sheds light on the Vietnam War period. After the museum, we continue our tour with the Reunification Palace, which witnessed the country’s independence history. We have lunch at a local restaurant, giving us the opportunity to taste some of the finest examples of Vietnamese cuisine. For the remainder of the day, we enjoy free time around Ben Thanh Market and its surroundings.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta
Today, a full and fulfilling day awaits us as we explore both the historical and natural sides of Vietnam. After breakfast, we first head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the most fascinating underground structures from the Vietnam War. These tunnels, which contain striking traces of guerrilla warfare, offer visitors an impressive experience with their underground living spaces, trap systems, and shelters. We then continue to the Mekong Delta, one of the region’s most fertile waterways. During a boat ride through the tropical landscape, we travel into the heart of nature, observing local life along narrow canals lined with palm trees. Along the way, you may taste fresh tropical fruits from local producers and discover traditional handicrafts.

Day 4: Saigon – Phnom Penh (Cambodia) / Overland Border Crossing & Dinner on the Mekong River
After breakfast, we leave the hotel and begin an unforgettable overland journey from Vietnam to Cambodia. Along the way, we have the chance to observe the Vietnamese countryside, pass through everyday local life, and experience the border crossing process firsthand. After the exit and entry procedures at the Moc Bai – Bavet border checkpoint, we step into Cambodian territory and continue on to the capital, Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, we check in to our hotel and enjoy a short rest. In the evening, we join a pleasant boat tour on the Mekong River. Dinner served with the historic city skyline along the riverbank will be a unique start to our first night in Cambodia.

Day 5: Phnom Penh – Capital Tour & Traces of History
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out to explore Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. We begin with the Royal Palace, located in the heart of the city and impressive with its architecture. Inside the palace complex, the Silver Pagoda stands out with its emerald and gold statues while also revealing the country’s spiritual richness. We then visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) to witness the painful period of Cambodian history. This school building, which was turned into a prison during the Khmer Rouge regime, sheds light on the tragedies that occurred there. Around midday, we take a short break at a local restaurant and have the chance to sample some of the standout flavors of Cambodian cuisine. We complete the day with a short walk around Wat Phnom Temple and the Independence Monument by the riverbank.

Day 6: Phnom Penh – Tonle Sap Lake Boat Tour – Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart Phnom Penh and head north toward Siem Reap. Along our route, we stop at Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. During a short boat tour here, we have the chance to see the floating villages built on the lake up close. As homes, schools, and even markets are all built on the water, this area showcases a traditional way of life in Cambodia. After the boat tour, we continue our journey by road and arrive in Siem Reap in the evening, home to the Angkor Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After checking in to the hotel, we enjoy dinner at an authentic restaurant serving local flavors.

Day 7: Siem Reap – Full-Day Angkor Wat & Angkor Thom Tour
After breakfast, we set out on a full-day tour to explore the Angkor Ancient City, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the world. We begin with Angkor Wat, considered the pinnacle of Khmer architecture and also the largest temple complex in the world. In this magnificent 12th-century structure, we have the chance to closely examine the reliefs dedicated to the gods, massive towers, and sacred pools. We then continue to Angkor Thom, the former capital of the Khmer Empire. Here, the iconic Bayon Temple with its mysterious smiles, the Terrace of the Elephants where ancient royal processions were held, and the sacred Baphuon Temple are among the highlights of our tour. Throughout the day, we experience an enchanting atmosphere where historical grandeur and nature intertwine.

Day 8: Siem Reap ✈ Luang Prabang (Laos) – Arrival and Rest
We spend the morning in Siem Reap resting or making short excursions in the surrounding area. In the early afternoon, at the designated time, we depart from the hotel and transfer to the airport. We take a Vietnam Airlines flight departing at 17:05 and, after approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes, arrive in Luang Prabang, the cultural capital of Laos, at 18:30 local time. After passport procedures, we transfer to our hotel in the city center by the vehicle waiting for us. On our first evening in this peaceful and mystical city, we enjoy dinner at a restaurant where traditional Laotian cuisine is elegantly served, easing the day’s fatigue in a pleasant atmosphere.

Day 9: Luang Prabang – Full-Day Nature & Culture Tour
After breakfast, we begin exploring Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our first stop is Wat Xieng Thong, one of the oldest and most magnificent temples in the city. With its gold-adorned walls and graceful examples of traditional Lao architecture, this temple is one of the structures that best reflects the spirit of Luang Prabang. We then visit the Royal Palace Museum, which reflects the city’s history and royal past. After lunch, we turn toward nature and head to Kuang Si Waterfall, one of the region’s most breathtaking natural beauties. We take a short walk through the forest to reach this multi-tiered waterfall and enjoy time for swimming and photos. Throughout the day, we experience an unforgettable day surrounded by both the mystical atmosphere of Luang Prabang and tropical nature.

Day 10: Luang Prabang – Surroundings Tour & Flight to Hanoi (Vietnam)
After breakfast, we take a pleasant morning tour around Luang Prabang. First, we climb Mount Phousi, which overlooks the city and is famous for its panoramic views. After ascending the steps, we are greeted by a magnificent view of the Mekong River and Luang Prabang’s traditional-roofed houses. We then stroll through the Morning Market and the surrounding streets, where traditional handicrafts are sold, giving us the chance to get to know the Laotian way of life more closely. Around midday, after enjoying a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we return to the hotel for a short rest. In the evening, we transfer to the airport and depart for Hanoi at 19:15 on Vietnam Airlines. After a flight of approximately 1 hour, we arrive in Hanoi at 20:15 local time and transfer to our hotel.

Day 11: Hanoi – Halong Bay Boat Tour
Early in the morning, we depart from the hotel and head to the Halong Bay area, a natural wonder and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After an approximately 3-hour drive from Hanoi, we arrive at Halong Port and board a traditionally designed boat waiting for us. During our boat tour, we embark on a fairytale-like journey among turquoise waters, limestone cliffs, caves, and countless islands. We enjoy lunch on board, with a rich menu featuring fresh seafood. During the excursion, we closely see prominent natural formations in the area such as Sung Sot (Surprise Cave), and for those who wish, there are photo and rest breaks on the deck. At the end of the day, we return to Hanoi and check in to our hotel.

Day 12: Hanoi – City Tour & Return Flight to Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue exploring Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. First, we view the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the leader of Vietnam’s independence movement, from the outside, and then visit the Temple of Literature, which reflects the country’s historical and literary heritage. After that, we walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple, one of Hanoi’s spiritual sites, soaking in the city’s tranquil atmosphere. After lunch at a traditional restaurant in the city center, we have free time for shopping and relaxation. In the evening, we transfer to the airport and depart for Istanbul at 22:30 on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight.
